Job summary

JCCA in New York City seeks a dynamic Outreach Coordinator to expand awareness of our programs, strengthen community partnerships, and develop referral opportunities across child welfare and behavioral health services.

You will build relationships with schools, healthcare providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders, travel to the Bronx and Brooklyn weekly, and represent JCCA at meetings, conferences, and community events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in outreach, community relations, or related fields.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Build Community Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, government agencies, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
• Represent JCCA at community meetings, conferences, networking events, resource fairs, and public forums.
• Conduct presentations and informational sessions to increase awareness of JCCA programs and services.
• Identify opportunities to develop new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships.
• Maintain regular communication and follow-up with community partners.
