Job summary

The Boston Public Schools seek a Community Field Coordinator (CFC) to support school-wide outreach and partnerships with community agencies, families, and corporate partners. The role focuses on programs that reflect the diverse international heritage of our students.

Reporting to the Principal/Head of School, the CFC will develop partnerships, initiate outreach, coordinate events, and build parental engagement while maintaining professionalism and collaboration in a busy urban setting.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED plus 48 college credits or an Associate's degree.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required.
• Experience building community partnerships and working with youth.
• Experience with migrant/immigrant families preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse urban school setting.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop partnerships with community and corporate agencies.
• Coordinate events and celebrations reflecting student diversity.
• Develop outreach strategies using culturally appropriate approaches.
• Engage parents and families to increase involvement in school activities.
• Identify resources and speakers for dialogues and student programs.
• Support fundraising, grant efforts, and reporting as needed.
