Job summary

EightCAP, Inc. is seeking an Outreach & Navigation Specialist to serve as a frontline resource for individuals and families seeking support in the service area.

You will help households access resources, assess eligibility, set goals, and connect with services that promote stability and self-sufficiency. The role emphasizes community engagement, intake, eligibility determination, case management, financial counseling, and careful documentation while coordinating with partner agencies to expand

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services, Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; eligible for HS04 with a related bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Community Engagement: participate in events, represent EightCAP, maintain knowledge of programs.
• Intake & Eligibility: respond to requests, conduct intake, verify documents, determine eligibility, complete applications.
• Navigation & Case Management: assess needs, develop goals, provide referrals, follow-up, coordinate with partners.
• Financial Counseling & Education: provide budgeting guidance, Weatherization education, promote self-sufficiency.
• Documentation & Data Entry: maintain case notes, data entry in empowOR, ensure confidentiality.
