Job summary

Greater Community AIDS Project seeks an outgoing, community-minded Outreach and Education Specialist to raise awareness of our mission, provide educational materials, and conduct outreach communications. The role is part-time (10 hours/week) with flexible evenings and weekends for events such as Pride Fest and HIV testing days.

Requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, TB test or TB-free status, and COVID-19 vaccination as required by law.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of auto insurance for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement community events and outreach activities.
• Create educational materials and outreach communications.
• Serve as an ambassador for GCAP at events like Pride Fest and HIV testing days.
• Provide mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling.
