Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or 90 quarter/60 semester credits from an approved school.
• Must be registered or certified with Washington DOH.
• Prior training in counseling or addiction treatment.
• History of performing in a professional capacity.
• Able to follow Cedar Wellness Center personnel policies.
• Willing to learn and deliver evidence-based practices in treating substance use disorders.
• Pass background check and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group treatment for individuals and families with substance use disorder.
• Disseminate information to the community when authorized by the Clinic Director.
• Participate in intake and scheduling of appointments; maintain charts.
• Conduct follow-up assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff on treatment goals and referrals.
• Attend supervision and facilitate group/individual counseling sessions.
• Plan for aftercare and community support to sustain sobriety.
