Job summary

Native Directions Inc. is seeking an Outreach Staff member to conduct culturally responsive outreach, provide prevention education on opioid and stimulant use, and support referrals to treatment services.

The role involves traveling to community sites, participating in workshops and town halls, distributing educational materials, and maintaining accurate program records with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in outreach, public health, or social services preferred.
• Ability to engage diverse communities with respect and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in required trainings on opioid use, harm reduction, and recovery resources.
• Travel to community sites and events across multiple counties weekly.
• Provide accurate, culturally appropriate information on substance use and recovery options.
• Set up outreach materials, distribute supplies, and inventory resources.
• Assist with recovery education workshops and anti-stigma activities.
• Maintain outreach logs, attendance records, and program documentation.
