Job summary

Woodward Management Partners seeks an Assistant Community Director to support operations for the property. You will assist the Community Director with leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and admin tasks, while maintaining strong resident relations.

You will ensure compliance with applicable laws, coordinate vendor relations, and help achieve occupancy and financial goals. A valid driver’s license and Yardi experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Must be able to work 1-2 weekends a month.
• Yardi or equivalent property management software experience is required.
• General knowledge of computers and computer programs (Word, Excel, etc) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Director in all phases of community operations.
• Maintain bookkeeping and ensure fees are charged and filings are timely.
• Assist with marketing, leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and admin.
• Represent Woodward Management Partners professionally at all times.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and safety policies.
• Coordinate turns and prepare renewal leases for signatures.
• Maintain occupancy and profitability and control expenses.
