Job summary

BMCHS is seeking an Operations Manager to drive the HEART program's operations and site management in the Boston area. You will supervise the HEART Community Wellness Advocate and Outreach Team, handle hiring, onboarding, and staff development, and coordinate with clinical partners to ensure smooth patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree of Arts or Science or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related fields strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 5-7 years of related experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of progressive management or leadership experience.
• Community Health Certification (CHW) upon hire preferred OR obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a medical matrix team and represent needs of medical services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Community Wellness Advocate and Outreach Team, guiding and supporting staff, scheduling, hiring, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with Nurse Practitioner and care team to ensure seamless transitions between medical care and community resources.
• Manage physical and virtual program operations, scheduling, protocols, supplies, and staffing for daily operations.
• Execute operational protocols designed by the Program Director for frontline staff.
• Use reporting tools to monitor daily program activity and report to the Program Director about patient touchpoints, enrollment, and outreach targets.
