GMH Communities in Lexington, KY is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in all aspects of property operations, with a focus on resident relations, leasing, and financial performance.

The AGM will run the property in the GM's absence, participate in weekly meetings, and collaborate with marketing to drive leasing initiatives while maintaining high service standards for residents.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in student housing.
• 2 years in a management role with a track record of achievements.
• Experience with Yardi or Entrata property management systems.
• Strong financial, organizational, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets; knowledge of social media.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive resident relations through outstanding service.
• Participate in daily property operations and leasing events.
• Collaborate with the marketing manager to drive leasing and marketing initiatives.
• Attend weekly team meetings and support retention programs.
• Ensure efficient maintenance request tracking and accurate reporting.
• Manage files, leases, contracts, and administrative duties with professionalism.
