Job summary

Gallery Residential in Sherman, TX seeks an Associate Community Director to support the Community Director by handling accounting, bookkeeping, rent collection, and financial reporting for the property.

You will use Yardi or One Site to record, track, and report financials, assist with vendor payments, tenant charges, and close monthly books while ensuring adherence to company policies and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management accounting and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in rent collection, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Ability to use property management software for recording financial data.
• Strong numerical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily transactions related to financial operations by collecting and posting rent and payments.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices for payment with proper approvals.
• Enters approved bills into the accounting system and coordinates with accounting.
• Reviews resident accounts to determine unpaid or late fees and communicates with residents.
• Follows eviction procedures and represents the property in court hearings if required.
• Manages move-outs and dispositions per lease terms.
• Responds to resident questions and maintains resident satisfaction.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in the Community Manager's absence.
• Assists in owner communications and property performance updates.
• May support leasing and marketing efforts to achieve occupancy goals.
• Completes various reports and meets attendance requirements.
