Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking an experienced mortgage originator to drive loan applications within CRA-targeted neighborhoods in Baltimore, MD. You will market bank mortgage products, engage with real estate professionals, and assess borrower financials to determine loan viability.

You will interview applicants, guide them through loan options, and ensure compliance with origination procedures while coordinating with an internal network to close deals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 2 years sales experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
• Ability to travel to prospective customers' homes or business locations.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage applications within CRA-focused markets.
• Market mortgage products to customers and real estate partners.
• Interview applicants to assess income, assets, debts and credit data.
• Determine loan eligibility and advise on mortgage programs.
