Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington seeks a bachelor-level Community Support Specialist 2 to join an interdisciplinary team providing case management for adults with mental illness in line with DC regulations. Documentation is done in Credible with timely updates and collaboration with clinical staff.

Responsibilities include delivering community support services, assisting with IRP development, crisis intervention, and linking clients to resources while pursuing ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related discipline.
• Licensure in the appropriate jurisdiction if Social Work degree.
• Licensure in the appropriate jurisdiction if Professional Counseling degree.
• At least 1 year direct service experience with adults with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community support services to identified adults with mental illness.
• Establish productive relationships to promote Individual Recovery Plan (IRP) goals.
• Provide interventions specified in the IRP to each consumer.
• Support consumers during mental health crises and/or per supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Credible and related records.
• Coordinate services with interdisciplinary treatment team and communities.
