Job summary

CREI Management is seeking a Marketing Assistant in Toledo, OH to interface with prospective residents, handle daily resident issues, and coordinate lease renewals. You will be a key player in a competitive market, with training focused on Fair Housing, closing techniques, and objections handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; active enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Professional and enthusiastic demeanor from sales, leasing, marketing or customer service experience
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to read and interpret lease documents
• Able to be a team player and work well with others
• Excellent customer service, sales and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel; familiarity with Entrata preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, prospects and visitors to the community
• General office administration including lease and resident communication management
• Effectively lease apartments in accordance with budget guidelines
• Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents
• Conduct outside marketing under supervision of management
• Coordinate the application review for each lease including verifications and background checks
• Prepare lease packets and files with all documents and signatures
• Ensure condition of leased apartments prior to move-in and perform final inspections
• Follow up with residents and manage lease renewals and renewals process
• Perform daily marketing inspections and light cleaning of model unit(s) and common areas
