Job summary

Cardinal Group at Palomar at SLO in San Luis Obispo, CA, is seeking a Community Manager to protect, maintain and enhance the property's value while maximizing residents' living experience. This is a full-time exempt position.

You will direct day-to-day operations across maintenance, leasing, marketing and facilities, manage cash flow, and oversee budgeting and reporting. On-site leadership and resident relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years’ experience in property management and knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, resident relations.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata preferred.
• MS Word, Excel and Google platform proficiency.
• Ability to analyze monthly financial statements and prepare budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communications; ability to train and supervise.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite maintenance, leasing and office staff to meet goals.
• Direct daily activities across loss prevention, risk management, safety and upkeep.
• Manage cash flow and leasing strategy to optimize operating income.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variances from budget.
• Maintain accurate community files and lease data in management software.
