Job summary

Ross - A Division of Envolve is hiring a Community Manager for Birdsong Apartments in Glendale, AZ. You will supervise on-site staff, drive leasing and marketing efforts, and manage budgets while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and property standards.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in property management, knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credits, proficiency in Yardi, and strong budgeting and communication skills. Expect weekend/holiday work and some travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Community Manager or Assistant Manager experience or equivalent management experience.
• Strong financial management skills with budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and travel for training or meetings.
• High School diploma or equivalent; some college strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall performance of the assigned property.
• Direct on-site staff and lead leasing and marketing activities.
• Prepare and manage property budgets and financials.
• Monitor lease obligations and ensure market-ready units.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal Fair Housing laws.
• Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and projects.
• Provide reports and training to the team.
