Job summary

Mandel Group is seeking a Community Manager for the PrairieGrass at Jordan Creek property in West Des Moines, IA. You will serve as the onsite business leader, overseeing day-to-day operations, leasing activity, and resident relations to achieve financial and service objectives.

You will collaborate with regional and corporate teams to maintain property standards, lead an onsite team, and implement programs to enhance resident experience during lease-up and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Property/Community Manager in multifamily housing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and ability to recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Comfort working with numbers and basic financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the apartment community.
• Lead and develop an onsite team with coaching, training, and performance management.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction and meet or exceed expectations.
• Oversee operations: budgeting, revenue, marketing, leasing activity and property performance.
• Monitor maintenance and coordinate repairs and improvements as needed.
• Manage resident move-ins/outs per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with Regional Manager and internal departments to support success.
• Develop programs to increase property value and resident engagement.
• Prepare reports with accurate information for management.
