Job summary

Redwood Communities, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee daily multifamily operations, drive financial performance, and lead on-site staff across multiple properties.

The role emphasizes compliance with HUD regulations, strong occupancy management, and delivering an exceptional resident experience. You will manage budgets, reporting, rent collection, and leasing activity while maintaining high service standards and adherence to affordable housing programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Community Manager or higher in multifamily housing.
• Experience with affordable housing (LIHTC & HUD, or similar programs) required.
• Proficiency in property management software RealPage and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations in accordance with HUD regulations and company policies.
• Maintain compliance with HUD rules, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Manage annual budgets, monitor financial reports, and control operating expenses.
• Collect rents, enforce leases, and monitor delinquencies to ensure cash flow.
• Supervise on-site staff and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Foster a positive resident experience and oversee leasing activities.
