Qualifications

• 3 years of property management experience.
• Ability to travel via car or plane about 20% of the time.
• Advanced MS Office Word/Excel and computer technology skills.

• Prior leadership experience required.
• Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects the property to ensure standards are met and regulatory compliance.
• Develops marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Monitors budget guidelines, renewal information and marketing data; provides timely information.
• Develops resident retention strategies and addresses service issues promptly.
• Manages repairs and maintenance requests; oversees preventative maintenance programs.
• Collaborates with Regional Manager on budgets and financial processes per policy.
• Reviews financial reports, collects revenues, and prepares operational reports.
• Hires, trains, supervises, and mentors property staff; conducts performance evaluations.
