Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners seeks a Community Manager to lead a multifamily community with focus on occupancy and resident satisfaction. You will coach the team, manage budgets, and drive leasing performance to meet financial targets.

The role requires PM experience, knowledge of Yardi/Knock, and a commitment to our Live It culture. On-site position in Kannapolis, NC with strong growth potential and rewards.

Qualifications

• Two years of property management experience including Leasing Consultant and Assistant Community Manager roles.
• Six months of community manager experience in multi-family properties preferred.
• Valid Driver's License; CAM/CAPS or real estate license and/or PM license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, rent collection, and financial reporting for the community.
• Oversee move-outs, deposit accounting, and delinquency tracking.
• Maintain accurate records using Yardi and Knock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Lead leasing efforts, renewals, and pricing to meet occupancy goals.
• Hire, train, and coach team members; lead weekly meetings.
