Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Community Manager II to oversee the daily operations of a multifamily community, ensuring financial, administrative, sales, marketing and maintenance standards are met while delivering excellent customer service. You will represent the company professionally and maintain high service levels for residents.

Requirements include 3–5 years in property management, proficiency with MS Office, strong written and verbal communication, and prior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of property management experience.
• Ability to travel via car or plane on average of 20% of the time.
• Advanced MS Office Word/Excel and computer technology skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience required.
• High School or GED (General Education Diploma) Required, some college preferred.
• Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property including financial, administrative, sales, marketing, and maintenance.
• Monitor budget, revenue, and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and income goals.
• Develop resident retention strategies and respond to service issues promptly.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance; manage vacancies and preventative maintenance programs.
• Work with Regional Manager to prepare operating budgets and manage purchase orders and vendor statements.
• Review monthly income/expense reports and collect receivables per policy.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate property staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
