Job summary

BH Management Services, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a multifamily community, ensuring standards, excellent customer service, occupancy and revenue goals.

The role requires coordinating maintenance, budget, marketing and leasing, staff supervision, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of property management experience, strong MS Office skills, leadership ability, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3 years of property management experience.
• Advanced MS Office Word/Excel and computer technology skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects the property to ensure company standards; ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
• Gathers, analyzes and interprets market trends and implements marketing and leasing strategies to hit occupancy and revenue goals.
• Develops resident retention strategies and responds to residents promptly to address service issues.
• Manages and coordinates requests for repairs and maintenance; oversees vacancies and preventive maintenance programs.
• Partners with Regional Manager to prepare operating budgets and monitor expenses and payables; reviews vendor statements.
• Reviews monthly income/expense reports and consolidates revenue following lease obligations; pursues delinquent accounts per policy.
• Hires, trains, and supervises property staff; conducts performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
