Job summary

National Community Renaissance seeks a Community Manager I to lead property administration, ensure compliance, and drive resident services. You will supervise on-site staff, manage budgets, and maintain occupancy while partnering with local programs for residents and neighborhoods.

The role emphasizes strong organizational, financial, and community-relations skills to support the mission and operate the property efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years in a role with comparable responsibilities.
  • 2+ years in a customer service environment.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration, compliance and maintenance to aim for 100% occupancy.
  • Partner with Hope Through Housing to develop social programs for residents and the neighborhood.
  • Direct and supervise 1–2 on-site personnel and/or temporary resources.
  • Maintain resident files and Yardi data per policies and regulations.
  • Review and approve notices for recertification and process applications per covenants.
  • Conduct monthly site inspections and report to management.
  • Manage office supplies and coordinate with Resident Services to meet budget and turnover goals.
  • Ensure work orders are entered and completed in Yardi on time.
  • Balance petty cash, post payments in Yardi, and prepare deposits and month-end reports.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and coordinate with accounting for accuracy.
