Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Community Manager to join our team. Under the direction of the Regional Manager, the Community Manager supports and assists in all aspects of community operations.

We are a fast-growing property management company with communities across the United States, and we empower teams to deliver exceptional service and leasing performance. This role requires oversight of staff, marketing, budgeting, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience as onsite Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager in multi-family housing or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college education and CAM/ARM preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all community associates.
• Support and participate in customer service and leasing standards.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously and resolve issues.
• Direct all marketing efforts.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Determine renewal rates and deliver renewal letters to secure renewals.
• Recommend rental rate adjustments or concessions to increase activity.
• Review resident files and accounting records for delinquencies and collect amounts due.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, 3-day demands, delinquency updates, and income/utilities tracking.
• Coordinate resident activities, newsletters, and loyalty/retention programs.
• Identify areas for improvement to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Research and monitor competition quarterly to align rental rates and deposits with market.
• Collect, post, and deposit rents and other income daily.
• Lead budgeting for occupancy, collections, and expenses.
