Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to run day-to-day operations at a Greystar-managed property in Arizona, leading the team, budgets, and resources to meet financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

You will drive rent set up, collections, vendor management, and lease enforcement, while building partnerships with housing officials and campus stakeholders to optimize occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• M.Ed or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Knowledge of equity and inclusion issues and laws impacting higher education and living communities (FERPA, Title IX, ADA).
• Ability to implement problem solving strategies for daily residential challenges (crisis response, conflict management, community development).
• Compassionate and diplomatic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and a team member.

Responsibilities

• Develop budget input for the property by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Meet revenue targets by setting rents, collecting fees, and reviewing monthly financials.
• Approve vendor invoices and manage communications between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Control expenditures within budget and oversee petty cash maintenance.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and fees.
• Liaise with housing officials and university partners for policy alignment and compliance.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to hit occupancy goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure safety, cleanliness, and appeal.
• Supervise staff, hire, orient, train, and manage performance per company policies.
