Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned apartment community in the Phoenix area. You will lead a team, manage budgets, ensure financial targets, and enforce lease terms in compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities include setting rent, collecting payments, supervising staff, coordinating vendor services, and driving occupancy and resident satisfaction through effective marketing and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and as a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budgets for the property by analyzing financial statements and reviewing marketing information.
• Meets targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting rent, and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approves invoices and manages communications between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and manages petty cash.
• Oversees the lease enforcement process including applications, renewals, inspections, and notices.
• Gathers and analyzes market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests with timely action.
• Conducts regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
