Job summary

Laramar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee multiple residential properties, ensuring occupancy, revenue, and excellent resident relations. This role supervises staff across leasing, maintenance, and portering, while managing budgets and ensuring compliance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations.

The ideal candidate maintains high standards of customer service, demonstrates leadership in daily operations, and drives performance through strong communication and disciplined processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience in residential property management.
• Experience supervising staff.
• LIHTC property management experience required.
• Experience with LIHTC certifications and income qualifications.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• English literacy and driving license with adequate insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality customer service.
• Oversee operations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Adhere to budgets while maintaining quality.
• Document financial goals, expenditures, and income accurately.
• Oversee leasing process including applications, pricing, and renewals.
• Ensure LIHTC compliance and affordable housing requirements.
• Maintain resident files per LIHTC rules.
• Lead staff through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Foster resident relations and address concerns promptly.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
