Job summary

The Laramar Group LLC is seeking a Community Manager to lead daily operations for designated properties in Virginia. You will supervise leasing, maintenance, and staff while driving occupancy, revenue, and quality service across communities.

Ideal candidates have LIHTC knowledge, 2+ years in residential property management, and strong communication with owners and residents. This full-time role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and customer-centric operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a related college degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of residential property management experience required.
• Experience managing teams and staff performance is required.
• Previous LIHTC and affordable housing knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality customer service across properties.
• Oversee operations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Manage budgets within prescribed constraints.
• Oversee leasing, renewals, and applicant review.
• Ensure LIHTC compliance and resident file maintenance.
• Lead staff through training and performance management.
• Foster strong resident relations and owner communications.
