Job summary

Landmark Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the community’s maintenance program and protect asset value. The role focuses on interior and exterior upkeep with strong customer-service orientation.

You will assist in repairs, monitor parts inventory, perform preventative maintenance, and support the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely handling of work orders and emergency calls, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Must have excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Assist with maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Understand residents' needs and exceed expectations.
• Develop a sense of community among residents and staff.
• Maintain active, effective communication with residents and parents.
• Promote a positive community environment and entice participation in events.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with organizing and implementing a successful turn.
• Ensure service requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Be available on weekends and after hours for emergency calls.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce safety, emergency, and fire policies.
• Document and address behaviors violating the lease.
• Identify and address safety and security risks.
• Inspect the property condition and report problems.
