Job summary

Prairie Commons Apartments in Lawrence, KS is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join Gaines Investment Trust. You will repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and perform preventative maintenance to keep property functioning smoothly.

This on-site role requires hands-on problem solving, a dependable work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; a valid driver's license is preferred. Opportunities to grow within a stable, family-owned company.

Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, construction, facilities maintenance, or other skilled trades can provide a great foundation for apartment maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Complete resident service requests and troubleshoot maintenance issues
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents

What We're Looking For

Schedule

This position works a five-day schedule and participates in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours emergency maintenance needs.
