Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves preparing make-ready units, completing service requests, and performing preventative maintenance across residential properties.

You will interact with residents, guests, and team members, adhere to safety standards, and participate in risk management programs. A valid license, tools, and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year in apartment maintenance or related trade with basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Ability to read service requests and communicate in English with team and residents.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to adhere to set and variable work schedules, including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
