Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance the community's integrity while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves preparing make-ready apartments, completing service requests, and maintaining common areas to safety standards.

You will manage inventory, participate in preventative maintenance, and support resident satisfaction programs, communicating with residents, investors, vendors, and the CWS team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
