New Earth Residential is seeking a Service Technician to support community operations, perform general maintenance in common areas, and assist with on-call responsibilities. You will ensure timely completion of service requests in occupied apartments and help maintain property value through preventive maintenance, safety adherence, and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, along with a strong foundation in business principles.
• HVAC/R certification (HVAC & Refrigeration) is preferred.
• Ability to accurately follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Proven leader committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities, manage time effectively, and achieve goals.
• Resourceful problem solver capable of addressing unexpected challenges and adapting to changing priorities.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, organization, and on-site coordination.
• Proficient in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Skilled in tracking and managing inventory of materials and parts.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle chemicals safely.
• Available for emergency calls during nights and weekends as needed.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to maintaining common areas and amenities.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Residential Standards: Provide general maintenance in common areas and be on-call as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of service requests in occupied apartments per standards.
• Oversee property maintenance, prioritizing resident satisfaction and occupancy goals.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and repair mechanical systems to preserve property value.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and common areas at all times.
• Adhere to safety protocols and provide courteous, 5-star service to residents.
• Community Inspections and Quality Assurance Review: Assist and report on inspection results.
