Knoxville's Community Development Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to keep our communities clean, safe, and inviting. You will perform janitorial tasks, assist with preparing housing units, and help maintain grounds and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Under supervision, you will handle cleaning, basic repairs, and logistical support to daily operations, contributing to the pride residents feel in their homes and surroundings.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year custodial experience.
• Equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with residents and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Keep community spaces welcoming: clean lobbies and restrooms.
• Prepare homes for residents: clean units and prep surfaces for painting.
• Keep floors and surfaces clean and polished.
• Care for the grounds: clean walkways and parking areas daily.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed or repairs are required.
• Assist with daily operations: lock/unlock buildings and set up spaces.
• Complete other duties to support KCDC’s mission.
