Knoxville's Community Development Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team at The Communities at Beaumont. You will perform custodial tasks, unit prep, and general maintenance to keep spaces welcoming for residents and guests.

Under supervision, you’ll clean common areas, assist with housing units, and help maintain grounds. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and respectful customer service in a community-focused environment.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or GED with at least 1 year custodial/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of KCDC programs and services as they relate to staff, residents and community.
• HAZMAT regulations knowledge for chemicals used on the job.

Mansioni

• Keep lobbies, halls, offices, restrooms and shared areas clean and welcoming.
• Prepare housing units for residents; clean vacated units and surfaces; prep for painting as needed.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and clean surfaces; maintain floor shine as appropriate.
• Care for grounds; clean walkways and outdoor spaces daily; keep areas neat.
• Report supply needs and repairs; assist with daily operations and setup of meeting spaces.
• Support respectful interactions with residents, staff and visitors.
