Job summary

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, groundskeeping, snow removal, record-keeping, and supervising contractors. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience are required; HVAC/EPA certification

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and present information clearly.
Basic math and problem-solving skills; able to use MS Outlook and MS Word.

Responsibilities

Monitor maintenance expenses to stay below budget.
Inspect community grounds each morning.
Turn units, including painting, cleaning, and general maintenance of vacant units.
Complete maintenance requests promptly.
Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
Perform preventative maintenance activities.
Maintain landscaping, snow removal, and outdoor areas.
Keep records of maintenance performed in all units and at the site.
Maintain tools, equipment, and replacement parts; provide own tools.
Sweep and clean common areas; supervise contractors.
Provide emergency resident support after hours.
Maintain preventative maintenance records for residents and units.
Provide service for common amenities.
