Job summary

Kittle Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide on-site maintenance at our properties, deliver customer service, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, landscaping, unit turnovers, and coordination with contractors. A High School diploma or GED and 1 year of experience are required; HVAC/EPA certification is preferred. Basic MS Outlook and Word skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills (Outlook and Word).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control maintenance expenses; keep below budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Perform turn and maintenance of vacant units.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Carry out preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping and grounds.
• Perform snow removal of sidewalks.
• Maintain records of maintenance performed.
• Provide and maintain own tools.
• Sweep and clean common areas.
• Supervise contractors on site.
• Provide emergency resident support after hours.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records for residents and units.
• Maintain service for common amenities.
• Conduct quarterly unit inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
