Job summary

Wellvance seeks a Community Living Support Professional to help individuals live more independently and thrive in their communities. You will serve residents in Michigan counties, following a Person-Centered Plan, teaching daily living skills and facilitating community participation.

Great communication, organization, and flexibility are essential, as is a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior related experience is valued but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a good driving record.
• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals based on their Person-Centered Plan.
• Teach daily living skills like meal prep, budgeting, and personal care.
• Assist with community inclusion and social activities.
• Advocate for individuals and promote recovery principles.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency guidelines.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
