Job summary

Wellvance is hiring a Community Living Support professional for the 3rd shift in Michigan. You will work full-time, non-exempt, providing person-centered support to individuals with developmental and mental health needs.

Responsibilities include teaching daily living skills, promoting inclusion, documenting progress, and advocating for recovery. Training is provided; prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Support individuals based on their Person-Centered Plan.
• Teach daily living skills such as meal prep, budgeting, and personal care.
• Assist with community inclusion and social activities.
• Advocate for individuals and promote recovery principles.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency guidelines.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What Are We Looking For

• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel within our service area
• Valid Michigan driver's license, vehicle insurance, and good driving record
• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders is valued
