Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Gallagher Services is seeking a Manager of Community Living to oversee staffing, operation, and maintenance of assigned site/s under the direction of the Program Director.

The Manager of Community Living and Senior Manager of Community Living will work collaboratively with the Person-Centered Planning (PCP) Specialists to assist people with developmental and intellectual disabilities to live the life of their choice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field with 4 years’ related experience, at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Meets matrix requirements for level II.
• Ability to manage staff, budgets, and coordinate with PCP specialists.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where people are valued and protected, promoting dignity and rights.
• Direct a team of 10+ staff, including recruitment, performance reviews and scheduling.
• Develop staffing schedules with proper ratios and trained DSPs.
• Manage on-call duties to ensure continuous service outside standard hours.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communications with individuals, families, programs, and state agencies.
• Complete 30-day reviews and maintain individual files (medications, appointments, care).
• Ensure timely incident reporting and follow-up with leadership.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitor entitlements.
• Develop monthly maintenance plans for group home, grounds, and vehicles.
• Attend mandated training and train staff on care protocols and PCP processes.
