Job summary

InCommunity seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or aging-related needs in community settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, accompany individuals to appointments, and promote inclusion while maintaining a safe home environment and professional conduct. A driver’s license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least six (6) months of experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, or aging services preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and support to individuals in community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and document health concerns.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and meal preparation in home environments.
• Promote inclusion and coordinate visits and activities.
