Job summary

Supports is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide total care and individualized, strengths-based support in home and community settings. The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and meaningful community involvement for the Member.

The DSP will assist with daily living activities, accompany the Member to community events, and support college coursework. A valid Arkansas driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ with background checks required.
• Valid Arkansas driver’s license, insurance and safe driving record.
• Ability to use mobile devices/computers for documentation.
• Reliable, flexible and team-oriented.
• Comfortable providing total care and hands-on assistance.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care assistance and personal support with daily living activities.
• Provide community access, transportation, skill-building, and recreational supports.
• Assist with budgeting, technology use, and social engagement.
• Support participation in college coursework and community activities.
• Implement positive behavior supports and follow care plans.
• Document services accurately using agency-approved systems.
• Collaborate with the support team to ensure quality care.
