Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; functional literacy in math and reading.
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the CSI mission while empowering each person supported to direct his or her own life.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with persons supported.
• Provide opportunities for learning new skills and life experiences.
• Teach and role-model appropriate social behavior.
• Assist in developing and implementing each person’s vision statement and support plans.
• Support each person’s health, including medical appointments and communication with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure people exercise their rights.
• Maintain a clean, safe home reflecting personal preferences.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications and trainings.
• Maintain communication with the team, families, guardians and stakeholders.
• Assist with money management and safeguarding funds.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Adhere to CSI policies and procedures for safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
