Job summary

Birchwood Health Care Center in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a compassionate Community Life Assistant to support residents in our Lifespark Senior Living community. You will help develop and implement engaging wellness programs and coordinate activities for seniors requiring Transitional Care and Long-Term care.

You will work with the Community Life Department Supervisor to promote wellbeing, communicate with residents and families, and ensure programs run smoothly, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Promote and integrate the wellness dimensions into the community life programs.

Birchwood Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for dedicated and passionate Community Life Assistant to join our growing team.

Birchwood Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Forest Lake, near North Shore Dr and Forest Lake. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.

In this position, you will be responsible to assist the Community Life Department Supervisor in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. Duties include:

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications:
