Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is seeking a Community Liaison to build and grow our referral network across hospitals, rehab facilities, senior communities, and physician offices in the Austin area. This is a business development role where your success is measured by the care hours generated from new clients.

You will travel across the region, deliver Lunch and Learns and health talks, log activity in CRM, and coordinate with our care team to start services quickly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, account management, or healthcare marketing.
• Healthcare or senior care experience strongly preferred.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales or referral goals.
• Confidence presenting to small groups and professional audiences.
• Strong organization and follow-through; reliable transportation and ability to travel daily in the Austin area.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a book of referral partners, including hospitals, skilled nursing and rehab facilities, senior living communities, physicians' offices, social workers, and case managers.
• Prospect new accounts through cold calls and in-person visits.
• Deliver Lunch and Learns, CEUs, and health talks on topics like fall prevention, dementia support, and VA benefits.
• Represent the agency at senior expos, networking groups, and community events.
• Log all activity in our CRM and report weekly on pipeline and referral results.
• Work with our care coordination team so new clients start care quickly.

Build the referral network that brings families to us.

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring a Community Liaison to grow our client base. This is a business development role. You will build relationships with hospitals, rehab and skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and physicians' offices, and turn those relationships into new clients. Your results are measured by the care hours your referrals generate, and your commission grows with them.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $45,000 to $55,000, based on experience
• Uncapped monthly commission on care hours from new clients you bring in
• Target earnings of $65,000 to $75,000 at goal, with top performers earning over $90,000
• Gas reimbursement and toll tag coverage
• A 90-day ramp with clear monthly goals and direct coaching from ownership

What You Will Do

What Success Looks Like

In a typical week, you attend at least one networking event and one community event, deliver one Lunch and Learn, and spend most of your time in the field with referral partners. When a referral comes in, you meet with the family for an in-home consultation, assess their needs, and recommend a care plan and schedule. You then guide the family through onboarding and stay in touch with the referral source so they know their client is in good hands.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in business development, sales, account management, or healthcare marketing
• Healthcare or senior care experience strongly preferred
• A track record of meeting or exceeding sales or referral goals
• Confidence presenting to small groups and professional audiences
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Comfort with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and virtual presentation tools
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel daily across the Austin area
