Job summary

Bristol County Savings Bank seeks a Community Lending Specialist in Providence, RI, with Spanish required, to originate and manage residential loan production centered on community reinvestment. This outside-sales role covers an assigned territory and requires close coordination with bank teams.

You will meet applicants and brokers, review documents, and promote bank programs while building relationships with community partners. Bilingual ability a plus and NMLS maintained throughout tenure.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of community outreach, banking or consumer lending experience.
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develops, originates and tracks residential loan production with a focus on community reinvestment lending in outside sales within an assigned territory.
• Meets with applicants, brokers, nonprofits and takes applications away from Bank offices or fixed locations.
• Serves as liaison between broker, borrower and Bank during application process and through closing.
