Job summary

Owen County Schools is seeking a Community Learning Center Coordinator to plan, oversee, and administer the daily operations of the Community Learning Center. • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Related work beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or implement procedures for identifying students at risk of academic failure.
• Ensure CLC programs and activities are appropriate to meet determined needs, center goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with school personnel to ensure children’s needs are met; oversee and maintain CLC records; submit required reports.
• Supervise all staff and provide team leadership in overall operation of programs.
• Attend trainings pertinent to operation of programs and development of activities in the CLC.
• Assure compliance with federal/state laws and district policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding employees, students and families.
• Maintain acceptable personal attendance without frequent unexcused absences.

Education
