Job summary

Litchfield Community Center, Inc. seeks a program coordinator to assist in planning and coordinating educational, recreational, and enrichment opportunities for children, youth, and families.

You will work with residents, schools, and community groups to tailor programs to local needs and interests. The role requires flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, on-site event leadership, and collaboration with volunteers and instructors to deliver impactful community services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreational services, social services, or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of commendable work experience in recreation, community services and/or education preferred.
• Valid CT Driver’s License and related certifications required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or have direct responsibility for coordinating educational, recreational, and enrichment opportunities.
• Consult with residents and community groups to identify needs and develop programs focusing on Children, Youth, and Family.
