Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking a dedicated kitchen cook to prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with program guidelines and sanitation standards. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least two years of food production experience, and a valid Texas Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in planning food production to coordinate with meal serving hours.
• Food Service Manager’s Certification Program for the City of Houston.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per program procedures; plan menus for three meals and two snacks daily.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; proper storage and labeling.
• Conduct weekly inventories and coordinate with vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
