Job summary

MAHUBE-OTWA is seeking a dedicated Intake Navigator for our Head Start program. You will handle calls and walk-ins, schedule appointments, complete intakes and applications, and manage related paperwork while delivering client services. A strong clerical background, data entry and computer skills are essential to support families.

Full-time, day shift, with seasonal layoffs. Park Rapids, MN and Detroit Lakes, MN locations. Competitive pay and benefits offered; DHS NetStudy clearance may apply.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with 1–3 years clerical experience.
• Ability to work with diverse populations in a low-income program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic math.
• Proficient computer skills including email, Internet and data entry.
• Respect for privacy and confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process calls and walk-ins, schedule appointments and complete intakes.
• Process applications and related paperwork for Head Start program.
• Provide services to clients and households and maintain records.
• Collaborate with staff and adapt to a transforming environment.
