Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Three or more years of experience in direct insurance sales.
• Demonstrated ability to close new business and manage a pipeline.
• Strong comfort level with consultative selling and public speaking.
• Experience using agency management systems to track activity and follow-ups.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with local business owners and families who need tailored insurance solutions.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure our clients have the right coverage for their specific life stages and assets.
• Present personalized insurance proposals clearly and confidently to prospects.
• Manage your own calendar, setting appointments that balance new business development with existing client service.
• Collaborate with our internal support staff to ensure that every policy is set up accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in local networking events to keep our agency connected to the heart of the Frederick business community.
